At 4 a.m., first responders in Andover Township received multiple calls reporting an active fire at Little Mexico Restaurant at 287 Newton-Sparta Road, Andover Township police said.
Newton-Sparta Road was closed for four hours due to the active fire scene, police said. Two other tenants were set to open businesses at the site before the fire, police said.
The fire is under investigation by the Andover Township Police Department, Sussex County Fire Marshal and Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office, police said. No injuries were reported.
